About
As a child of immigrants, Luis was the first in his family to go to college and attend graduate school. Luis is originally from LA but has have moved all over the state. Luis has been working in education for 8+ years; as a substitute teacher, an ESL tutor, academic advisor & coordinator for TRIO programs. His passion in dismantling barriers and providing equitable access to higher education & learning is what drives him to work in academia.
