I worked for many years in corporate accounting as a financial and a managerial accountant. I have worked for all sizes of companies, from single owner to international conglomerates. I worked in many fields, but have specialized knowledge of accounting for government contractors, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and the transportation industry. 

After many years in the corporate world I was able to transition to teaching accounting at the college level, which was a lifelong desire. I love working directly with students and helping them pursue their goals. The students at Ventura College come from many different backgrounds and many different places in life. But all of them are welcome and have place at Ventura College.
